Revival was created during the Summer of 2007 when a group of Spanish designers decided.to give life to a vast array of ceramic objects stored in an old factory in Valencia, which was due for demolition.
The large quantity of abandoned ceramic pieces inside the factory motivated us to create and make a collection of “new” products, modifying, changing or combining the original and traditional pieces.
The main tools we used were creativity and enthusiasm.
The goal was to create a new opportunity for all the ceramics that were going to be destroyed, eventually presenting the resulting pieces in an exhibition held in the.factory from which they originally came, and coinciding with the International Furniture Fair of Valencia in October of that year.
